Don’t dumb down your kids

A kid’s brain is learning thousands of new things at an amazing pace. They are learning new languages, new skills, new habits. They learn anything you teach them, with much lesser effort than adults. The nature has created a human brain curious by default. They become what you make them. If you teach them to play by rules, they most probably will play by rules. Dont teach them to be dependent, be fearful, play by rules, live by social norms, fit in.

Don’t force your kids to behave like adults, they are kids. Let them live their childhood.

Let your kids be free.

Be who they are born to become if you give them the choice to be themselves.

Let them challenge the norms.

Let them be honest as they are born, help them tell the truth.

Help them be fearless not fearful.

Appreciate their uniqueness, listen to their unique and new ideas.

Pay attention to their creativity.

Encourage them to keep trying, that’s the nature they are born with, till the adults dumb them down.

Play with them a lot, be a kid with your kids.

Let them jump.

Let them learn what they enjoy learning.

Let them fall and learn to get up. Help them to help themselves, help them to be independent.

Teach them to serve, share, help and love.
